Swazi crafts on show at UK charity events. Danaqa supports annual charity events run by Friends of the Earth in Cirencester, Cancer Research in Marshfield, Oxfam in Wells and the Fairtrade Foundation in Hay-on-Wye.
In 2019 we also enjoyed exhibiting at the International Fair Trade Towns Conference in Cardiff. We met some lovely people and shared great ideas around Fair Trade.
In 2020 plans were somewhat thwarted by the Coronavirus pandemic with events cancelled across the board. During the hiatus we were fundraising for SWIFT our Swazi supplier co-operative raising funds for their emergency food aid programme. Donations to Sept 2020 raised around £800 so a huge thank you to all who contributed to our Just Giving page and bought records, books and collectables at The Malt House Emporium near Tewkesbury..
Since 2022 we ae back in normal mode supporting charities who share our vision through events and one-off donations.
