Our partners, our principles

Danaqa suppliers

Danaqa is a trading style of the UK importer Eachday Shared Ltd

ESL works with a wide variety of ethical suppliers both directly, importing on our own account, and indirectly, through trusted Fair Trade importers. Our focus is on small women's led businesses in developing countries, and our aim is for quality in the goods produced all from a caring environment.

Our supply partners are aspirational companies with traditionally skilled artisans developing unique designs and ideas. We try to ensure that our partnerships are long term and allow our partners to invest and sustain their businesses. We try to source products that span regions and tastes, a fusion of original design and empathy for the originating culture, combined with a relevance for UK customers.

The result is a bright, bold mix. We hope our customers find uniqueness, fun and beauty in the ranges we select.

Examples of our partners include:

Sabahar - Ethiopia

Zoggs - Eswatini (Swaziland)

Kind Mothers Project - “Afribeads” - Uganda

Ban-Twa-Na - Eswatini

Selyn - Sri Lanka

Maximus - Sri Lanka

Tintsaba - Eswatini (Swaziland)

African Pewter- Swaziland

 Calypso - Chile

Danaqa Consultancy Partners

Danaqa is associated with several charities, Africa Equip, Shared Interest Foundation and Change by Exchange who work with development partners who are interested in innovative, workable and impactful development projects.

We work in conjunction with SWIFT (now Fair and Square), the Fairtrade producer umbrella group in Eswatini. Our role is to bring their second tier but highly skilled members to a wider audience in the UK and Europe.

We are keen to pursue new product and fundraising ideas, and have a few to share, and are always happy to have a chat over the phone or over a cup of tea or a beer.
